I Started my Auto career back in the late 80’s with Jeep & Dodge. After Jeep & Dodge I went to Pontiac, Hyundai as a Top Sales professional I also managed the location & was a Leasing Manager at that dealer for 15 plus years. I then went to work for the #1 Toyota Dealer were I helped clients purchase New & Used cars and trucks before Retiring. Currently I enjoy helping CU members find the right vehicle for their needs at the right price. Members do not need to worry about the hassle and pressure that the dealer salesperson, manager and finance Mgr put on them to pay to much, get to little for their trade and pay too much for finance products.I make the process as simple as possible by appraising your trade and being able many times to deliver the vehicle I helped you purchase to your home.

I started my career in the car business in 1984 as a sales secretary for the Morrie’s group of dealerships in Minnetonka. My primary job was to keep track of sales of New Subaru’s and Saab’s, reporting them sold to the manufacturer, and managing the dealership inventory. After doing this for a year, I decided to try my hand at selling, so I went to work for Ryan Mazda in Brooklyn Center. I was pretty successful at the dealership, and quickly became one of the top sellers of Mazda’s in the state. I sold Mazda’s until 1987, when I decided to move to Coon Rapids Chrysler, selling New and Used Chrysler’s and Plymouth’s. This was where I learned that selling was more about relationships than what you were selling. Again, I was one of the top producers at the dealership for my tenure there, which lasted until 1996, when my youngest son was born.
I was working 50 to 60 hours a week, and not spending as much time with my family as I liked, so I started to consider what else I could do to continue helping people purchase vehicles while working a few less hours, and increasing family time in the process. This opportunity became a reality in February of 1996 when I decided to go to work for a leasing company that worked specifically with credit union members. This company was called Carefree leasing, and I jumped in with both feet. I was assigned to work with members of City County Federal credit union, leasing them New vehicles. I was able to help members, and work more manageable hours, which was fantastic. In the spring of 1998, I was approached by management at City County, with an opportunity to continue leasing vehicles to their members, but to add Used vehicles as an option as well. This meant leaving Carefree and becoming an employee of the credit union with my own Used car business, which was a great option for me. I accepted, and moved forward.
In June of 2004, the credit union saw an opportunity to provide our services to many more members at other credit unions by moving my department (which had grown to 5 people) to a company they were part owners of in New Brighton called the CU Companies. This company was owned by 56 credit unions in the state, and we were able to reach and assist many more credit union members, so we were moved to New Brighton.
In April of 2011, a mutual decision was made to separate from the CU Companies, as their core competencies were moving in a different direction, non car business related. We moved the office and Used car business to our current location in New Brighton, and maintained the relationships we had made with the credit unions and their members while at CU Companies.
